Parents who are new to Palm Beach Day Academy arrive at our campuses to find buildings, equipment, supplies, furniture, and programs - all brought into existence by the parents who came before. Beginning in 1921, parents, desiring an excellent school for their children, have brought their dreams to reality, one building project at a time. Where there once was nothing, generations of parents have created what we enjoy today. Each group of parents, through contributions large and small, has taken its turn and added to, and improved what was inherited.
They did this by paying tuition, volunteering, supporting capital campaigns and the Annual Fund, by participating in auctions, serving on boards, providing professional services, and building community support for their vision. Our school’s existence is owed to the will of determined parents devoted to their children.
The current parent body is maintaining this tradition. Their sincere support has powerful effects on the experiences of their children daily. Their presence and involvement is vital to our school’s health today, and also to its future, when new parents will send their children to the school that we will pass forward.
